Optergy has announced that the P864 is now BTL listed and BTL certified as a B-AAC (Advanced Application Controller).
Optergy P864 is a Smart Edge Controller that operates building equipment autonomously and expands up to eight IO modules totalling 144 hardware points.
BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) is the international authority on interoperability between vendors that is verified through independent testing. BTL certification represents product quality and conformance to standards.
P864 users now have an added layer of assurance with regards to specified interoperability and reduced risk of incompatibility. The independent tests validate that the product correctly implements a specified set of BACnet features and identifies and eliminates implementation errors before a product reaches the market.
According to Optergy, the P864 gives building owners and contractors a complete standardised solution for smart controls, smart metering, utilities billing, after-hours billing, automated reporting, live dashboards and foyer displays.
The Optergy P864 connects to Optergy software to offer more than 50 built-in applications. Connectivity is available via BACnet IP (PoE), MS/TP, and MS/TP routing.
The P864 can be managed by third-party devices or software using its built-in Modbus gateway or REST API. Applications include systems such as HVAC, central plant, VRF, lighting, hydraulic systems, along with energy, water, and gas monitoring.
