Corrosion and Prevention 2019, the conference for professionals whose raison d’être is fighting corrosion, is slated for November 24–27 in Melbourne.
“Corrosion and Prevention 2019 will bring together leading researchers and industry practitioners who combat corrosion daily,” the conference organisers say. “Diverse technical streams will showcase the latest developments in corrosion, ranging from fundamental corrosion science to hands-on applications.”
The conference is hosted by the Australasian Corrosion Association Incorporated (ACA), a not-for-profit, membership association, which disseminates information on corrosion and its prevention through the provision of training courses, seminars, conferences, publications and other activities.
“The annual ACA conference is a premium networking event and a source for the latest information about corrosion mitigation,” the ACA says.
The conference boasts a program of keynote presentations and technical papers under a range of industry tracks. The integrated exhibition will also showcase products and services of the corrosion mitigation industry.
New for this year is the conference’s first Women in Corrosion breakfast, celebrating the contribution of women to the corrosion industry.
