Brussels-based natural refrigerant group Shecco will be launching what has been touted the world’s first natural refrigerant virtual trade show for the HVAC&R industry on September 1, 2020.
The free-to-attend online exhibition will give HVAC&R industry professionals remote access to the latest natural refrigerant solutions during the pandemic, says CEO of Shecco, Marc Chasserot.
“It will bring hundreds of companies and thousands of individuals together to exchange and learn about the latest natural refrigerant technology solutions from the comfort of their home – so save the date,” he says.
“The pandemic is going to make life very difficult for trade shows this year, so we felt that this was the right moment to launch such a service.”
To grant easy access to attendees from around the world, the 24-hour event will run from morning New Zealand time until 6pm California time. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the exhibitor booths, a virtual networking lounge, and an information help desk attended by Shecco staff.
After logging into the virtual tradeshow venue, online participants will be able to choose between joining a live, pre-recorded or on-demand presentation.
The live sessions will allow attendees to ask the speaker questions via text chat while the pre-recorded and on-demand sessions may be viewed any time at the attendees’ convenience.
The networking lounge will offer options for group chats and one-on-one chats via text, audio or video. Attendees will also be able to “see” who else is present at the lounge and initiate informal chats with each other.
An information desk will be available in the virtual lobby to assist attendees and exhibitors with any questions.
