AMCA Australia, in conjunction with the Fire Protection Association Australia (FPAS) and AIRAH, is hosting a webinar on Monday, December 2 about the evolving landscape of NSW building reforms and the critical implications of mandatory compliance with AS 1851-2012 (effective from February 13, 2025).
The webinar will explore FPAS accreditation pathways, key government licensing transitions, and strategies for adapting to these changes.
Key topics include:
- FPAS overview: Accreditation pathways, deadlines, and required competencies
- NSW building reform: Impacts to FPAS and accreditation and licensing
- AS 1851 compliance: Baseline data expectations, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
It will include a 30-minute presentation by Ben Fogerty, Executive Manager – Technical Services at AMCA, followed by a Q&A panel session.
The event will help attendees stay informed, minimise compliance risks and ensure any operations meet upcoming legislative requirements.
